The Brinno DUO Peephole Doorcam is powered by 4 AA batteries, eliminating the need for any wiring and making it particularly suitable for rental apartments. The device replaces the standard peephole, allowing for easy installation.

One of its standout features is the unique Duo mode, which enables simultaneous access to the built-in screen and the accompanying app. This dual functionality enhances usability for homeowners and renters alike.

Included with every Brinno DUO is a knock sensor that activates the recording function when a visitor knocks at the door. Additionally, the system supports up to six optional remote motion sensors, providing flexibility in monitoring. Users can also configure the device to send an email with three images each time its sensor is triggered.

For data storage, the Brinno DUO utilizes a removable SD card, ensuring reliable operation even during internet or power outages. Notably, recordings are not stored in the cloud, thereby eliminating any monthly subscription fees. The accompanying app allows direct communication with the camera.

Recordings stored on the SD card can be reviewed directly on the Brinno DUO's screen and are also accessible remotely through the app, adding convenience for users who wish to monitor their entryway from anywhere.
